Seeking Fixed Term Schools Services Manager 

Key Information:

Fixed term (8 months initial term), full-time role for 40 hours per week 

Salary: $73,220.00 – $83,220.00 salary range dependent on experience

Benefits: Budget for professional development and external supervision, wellbeing allowance, working from home allowance and remote working options.

Wellington – Te Whanganui-a-Tara (preferred)

This fixed term opportunity is intended to provide cover for parental leave and is for an initial term of eight months with the potential to extend for a further term if required.

The opportunity:

As our School Services Manager, you will have responsibility for overseeing national support for schools, whānau and rainbow ākonga, leading and growing our youth work across Aotearoa. You’ll be someone who loves both building relationships and optimising systems.

What you’ll bring:

  • Proven management experience.
  • Strong understanding of te ao Māori and Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
  • Deep commitment to rainbow equity, with lived or well-informed insight into LGBTQIA+ identities and intersectional challenges facing youth.
  • Experience working in or with systems that support young people (as a teacher, social worker, counsellor, facilitator, or similar).
  • Excellent time management & communication.
  • Emotional intelligence, good judgement and experience with stakeholder engagement and relationship building.
  • Administrative skills, and familiarity with Google Suite, Zoom, Slack, Mailchimp, Salesforce or other CRM/database systems.

Desirable qualifications and experience:
